English Conversation Group
Weekly on Thursdays during fall and spring semesters, 5:30-6:30pm, check Upcoming Events page for next scheduled meeting
English language learners from the UVA international community gather weekly for informal conversation at the International Center. The volunteer leader(s) create discussion topics and activities to help participants practice speaking English. This is an opportunity to make friends, improve English skills, and share cultures.  

Pizza Chat
Monthly on a Sunday, 5:30-7pm, check Upcoming Events page for next scheduled meeting
English language learners from the UVA international community gather monthly for a casual chat over pizza. The volunteer leader prepares questions on common topics to get the discussion started and then the group is welcome to stay on that topic or take lively conversation in any other direction that comes up. This is a great way to practice English conversation and meet others.
